FZAD is retained as designer and architect along with the client who is faux painting the interiors for a pre-war apartment renovation and restoration. Located on upper Madison, this renovation encompasses taking a 2 bedroom apartment and turning it into a three bedroom apartment; hence there was only one wall left standing. This posed a challenge in this elegant building to put back an apartment with all of the “force” of old world thick walls and trim and moldings.
